Light: Bright, indirect light or sheltered outdoor shade. Avoid direct Phoenix sun, especially afternoon sun, which scorches foliage.

Water: Let the top 1–2 inches of potting mix dry before watering thoroughly; empty saucers afterward. Reduce watering in winter and check outdoor containers more frequently during hot weather.

Soil: Loose, well-drained potting mix amended with perlite and fine orchid bark. Use containers with drainage holes.

Mature size: Usually 8–12 inches tall and 12–18 inches wide; older plants may grow larger.

Bloom: Small, inconspicuous flower spikes may appear in spring through fall under favorable conditions; indoor flowering is sporadic.

Evergreen / deciduous: Evergreen; frost-tender.

Growth rate: Slow to moderate, depending on light and warmth.
