Light: Morning sun with afternoon shade; avoid reflected heat from south- or west-facing walls.
Water: Moderate water needs; irrigate deeply when the upper 1–2 inches of soil dry. Water more frequently during extreme summer heat, especially while establishing. Not suitable for unirrigated desert landscaping.
