We’ve been shopping Desert Horizon Nursery for our outdoor and plant needs for over a decade, and it has never ceased to amaze us on the consistently new and diverse product lines. Whether you’re looking for trees, plants, pottery, patio accessories, furniture, fountains and much, much more or even getting some fantastic ideas – they have it or will find it for you! Visiting Desert Horizon Nursery is like wandering through a botanical garden, a museum, a bigger than big box store jungle of every shade of green, brown, ornamentation, to seeds, fertilizer and tools for your outdoor and indoor vegetal needs. And when it comes to advice and/or installations, they’re there! That’s why we keep coming back. Kudos Desert Horizon Nursery!

This place is huge and has so many plants both outdoor and indoor. All the plants are organized by type. It was busy on a Saturday morning but since it is a large space you are able to walk around without bumping into other people. They offer several garden supplies. They have a sign to inform the customers they don't offer warranty on the plants once they leave the premise unless they plant it for you.

I liked that most of the plants had prices. The small succulent 6-pack sections did not have pricing but I was able to check-in with the front and ask for the pricing. They also helped me find the price of a statue. All the plants appear to be healthy and they look beautiful. Since some of the other Yelp reviews wrote about plants not surviving or being diseased I would start with a smaller plant and see how it does.

Desert Horizon is by far the best nursery around. We have been going there for years now. They don’t have pushy salespeople following you around with prices like you’re buying a Ferrari. They are knowledgeable, professional, welcoming and kind. We had a new mule palm that didn’t make it through the summer, they came out to look at it and kindly replaced it for us . Top notch, because there aren’t many places that care this much for their customers anymore. Thank you to everyone at Dessert Horizon.

My wife wanted another tree for the backyard. A friend told her about Desert Horizon Nursery, so we went there today. Upon arrival we met Dr. Chuck, who is has a Doctorate in Arborology doing this for 50 years he knows his trees. I don’t know about palm trees from fern trees, but he explained several options to my wife.
I have a bad back and have difficulty walking long distances, so they were kind enough to have Daniel drive us around in a golf cart to look at specifically larger trees. The place is huge and must be 8-10 acres as we also sent in the back area where they had a few large ones. They must have over 5000 trees and bushes. All neat in rows – place is clean and organized given what it is.
We ended up getting a ‘Lucky Nut’ tree which was the only one they had, and it will be delivered next week.
I cannot tell you how great customer service was for us from everyone there. While sitting in the checkout area on a stack of fertilizer while my wife looked at a smaller plant, the young lady there offered me ice water as I was a bit parched as we had been there well over an hour. Prices were very good also. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Jeff & Ruthie

Desert Horizon Nursery is one of the best plant nursery’s I’ve ever visited. They have a fantastic selection of plants for just about any need. Over time, my wife and I have purchased thousands of dollars’ worth of plants here, and we’ve always been impressed with both the quality and the service.

Over a year ago, we ordered ficus trees from this location and had them delivered and planted. They are still thriving and look amazing on our property. More recently, I purchased 13 Japanese Boxwood shrubs, and they are also doing great. It’s clear that the plants here are healthy and well cared for before they reach customers.

What really sets this nursery apart is the staff. They are incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to share advice. They go above and beyond just basic watering and planting advice, but also on pruning, long-term maintenance, and even what to expect as the plants mature. Their guidance has been invaluable in making sure our plants continue to thrive.

Overall, this is an outstanding place for anyone serious about gardening or landscaping. Great plants, great service, and expert advice. You really can’t ask for more and I will be buying more from them in the future.

We had a great experience with this nursery! Although they didn’t have the full quantity we needed for our ranch project, they went above and beyond by ordering the additional plants and bringing them in quickly. Their team was incredibly helpful, efficient, and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. Great prices too — highly recommend!

We picked up a massive concrete Buddha statue from Desert Horizon Nursery and couldn’t be happier. Mike and the gang helped us out, super friendly and made the whole process easy. He loaded it up on a pallet and used a forklift to get it into our car with no problem. Great service, great prices and a cool place to shop!

This nursery is HUGE and adorned with so many beautiful shrubs and trees. This was my second visit to this nursery today, and I bought a 15 gal. Plumcot and a 15 gal. Florida Mandarin for $150 each. This was a steal of a deal. At other nurseries, these trees would have been between $300-$500. The trees that I bought today are more than 6 feet tall and had not been pruned at all! This is great because most nurseries over prune citrus and cut off the central leader and ruin the perfect design of citrus. This nursery actually knows what they are doing! The staff at this nursery is very knowledgeable and consultative. The last time I visited this nursery, I talked to a former farmer who works there, and he provided excellent advice on a citrus tree that I bought from another nursery. The staff quickly acknowledges you when you're ready to check out and helps to load your heavy items into the vehicle and provides a good amount of packing materials. I will continue to visit this nursery a lot in the future, especially in the upcoming spring time due to their reasonable prices, high-quality trees, and helpful staff. Thank you, Desert Horizon Nursery, for another great experience! You are 9 miles from my house, but worth the extra drive! Your nursery is my new go-to place for everything green!

I purchased 3 trees and 2 bushes from Desert Horizon with the help of Audrey a few weeks ago. They were delivered and planted with care and all seem to be doing well. I am very happy at this point and would deal with them again!
