Light: Full sun for best flowering; tolerates light afternoon shade in extreme Phoenix heat.

Water: Low to moderate water once established; water deeply, then let soil partially dry. Irrigate more frequently during establishment and prolonged summer heat.

Soil: Well-drained soil; tolerates sandy, rocky, and alkaline soils. Avoid persistently wet soil.

Mature size: Typically 2–3 feet tall and 3–4 feet wide.

Bloom: Blooms repeatedly from spring through fall; flowering may continue into winter in frost-free locations.

Evergreen / deciduous: Evergreen in frost-free conditions; may lose leaves or die back during freezing weather in Zone 9b.

Growth rate: Fast during warm weather.
