Gold Kist Apricot
The Gold Kist Apricot is a medium growing upright deciduous fruit tree.
It is a great apricot tree for our area because it only requires about 250 chill hours below 45 degrees F. That is easy to reach in our typical winter.
The Gold Kist Apricot has medium size freestone fruit and produces very well. They are very tasty and great for eating fresh or canning. They ripen around May.
This tree has nice green leaves and pink flowers and it is self fertile so there is no need for two.
This description is based on our observations and research of this plant growing in our hot Arizona climate. We would love hearing from anyone who has any additional experience with this plant in Arizona. |
