Anna Apple
The Anna Apple is a medium growing rounded deciduous fruit tree.
It is a great apple tree for our area because it only requires 200 to 300 chill hours below 45 degrees F. That is easy to reach in our typical winter.
The Anna Apple has large greenish yellow apples that have a slight red blush to them. They have a sweet crisp interior flesh. They are great to cook with as well as eating fresh off the tree. Ripens around June.
This tree has light green leaves and the most beautiful pink/white flowers. It is also self fertile but does produce best if you have another apple tree.
This description is based on our observations and research of this plant growing in our hot Arizona climate. We would love hearing from anyone who has any additional experience with this plant in Arizona |
